HP PCs - Using Recovery Managing director to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows seven)

This document pertains to HP and Compaq PCs that came with Windows seven installed.

HP Recovery Director is a software plan for Windows that comes with HP'southward consumer PCs. Use HP Recovery Manager to reinstall some of the hardware drivers and software programs that originally came with your HP computer. Non all software is available to be reinstalled.

Hardware Driver Reinstallation

Use the following steps to reinstall factory installed hardware drivers:

1. Click Start (), All Programs, Recovery Manager, and then Recovery Manager again.

3. On the Hardware Driver Reinstallation welcome screen, click Next.

   • If you are prompted to uninstall the plan before reinstalling it, follow these steps.

     1. Click Commencement (), and then Control Console.

     2. Nether Programs, Uninstall a program.

        The Uninstall or change a program window opens.

     3. Select the programme you want to remove.

     4. Click Uninstall or Uninstall/Change at the top of the program list.

     5. Read and respond to any messages that announced while the software is being removed from your computer.

     6. One time the program is uninstalled, resume the reinstallation from the Recovery Manager program.

6. When the reinstallation is consummate, select Yes, and and so Cease to restart the computer.
